The parallelogram OKAY is not unique... To be unique, the angle OKA or another angle may be given.
construction. Take any angle for OKA.
draw a horizontal line segment OK of length 5.5 cm. At K draw a line inclined to OK at the angle OKA. Using your drawing instruments, draw an arc of radius KA = 4.2 cm cutting this inclined line. The point of intersection is A.
From A draw a horizontal line parallel to OK through A. Now draw an arc of radius 5.5 cm from A cutting this line.. That point is Y. Join AY and YO.
