Parasites that live in the body are called endoparasites. An example of an endoparasite is a hookworm that lives in the hosts gut. Parasites that live on the outside of the body are called ectoparasites. Epiparasite is a parasite that feeds off another parasite, this is called hyperparasitoidism.
