Answer:

The radius of circular lawn is 32.4 m.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

Area of park excluding lawn , A = 8700 m²

Length of rectangular park = 120 m

Breadth of rectangular park = 100m

Area of rectangular park , A1 = l x b

A = 120 x 100

A = 12000 m²

Let 'r' be the radius of circular lawn.

Area of circular lawn  A2 = πr²

Area of remaining park excluding lawn = (area of rectangular park) – (area of circular lawn)

A = A1 - A2

8700 = 12000 – πr²

πr² = 12000 – 8700

πr² = 3300

22/7 x r² = 3300

r² = 150 x 7

r² = 1050

r = √1050

r = √25 × 42

r = 5√42 m

r = 5 × 6.48

r = 32.4 m

Radius of circular lawn = 32.4 m
