A park is in the shape of a circle and a person walking on the boundary covers a distance of 440 m in one round.Find the diameter of the park and also the cost of covering it with gravel at the rate of rupees225 per m

According to the given conditions,
circumference of the circle/park is 440m.

Since
circumference \:  =  \pi \: d
Therefore, diameter = 140.05 m

Now the cost of covering the boundary with gravel = 140.05 x 225
= ₹31511.25.
