a park of dimension 50m×30m has two perpendicular paths running parallel to the sides of the park and the path of the same width all around on the inside if each path is 1 m wide find the area of the path​

Answer: Length of park  = 50m

Breadth of park = 30m

Area of park = l x b

                    = 50 x 30 = 1500m​2

Area of Cross Roads = (50 x 1) + (30 x 1) - (1 x 1)

                     = 50 + 30 - 1

                    = 79m2

   ​Cost of gravelling the road = 79 x 10

                                                 = 790 Rs
