a parrot is green in colour. yet it is not an autotrophs like green plants. what is the reason ?

It doesn't have chlorophyll the green pigment important for autotrophs and chloroplasts and stomata too

A parrot cannot photosynthesise since it does not contain chlorophyll to trap sunlight unlike other autotrophs.
