GIVEN:

A particle covers 3/4 th of a circle

TO FIND:

Distance=?

Displacement=?

SOLUTION:

DISTANCE IS THE ACTUAL DISTANCE COVERED BY THE OBJECT

Distance=3/4×2πR

Distance=1.5 π R

DISPLACEMENT IS THE SHORTEST DISTANCE BETWEEN THE INITIAL AND FINAL POSITION

Displacement=(R)²+(R)²

Displacement=2R

I hope this helps ( ╹▽╹ )
