For a freely body ; the following equations of motion hold good

first v= u+ gt

second s= ut+ 1/2 at ^2

third v squre _ u square = 2 as

when a body falls freely under a action of gravity it velocity increases and the value of g is taken positive

when body thrown vertically upward it's velocity decrease and the value of g is negative

so the answer equation

= hold good

= s = ut+1/2at^2 to find height
