Distance = 5m

angle with x axis =37

to find :

the positional vector

solution :

we know that ,

cos 37 =\frac{4}{5} \\sin 37 =\frac{3}{5}

positional vector = r(cosx i + sin x j)

positional vector = 5(cos37 i +sin37j )=5(\frac{4}{5} i+\frac{3}{5}j)=4i+3j

Hence positional vector is 4i+3j
