a = v- u/ t

at= v-u

u = 0

and v = distance/ time

at = x(distance )/ t

x = at× t

At t = 1s ,

x1 = a × 1 × 1

x1 = a

At t = 3s

x2 = a × 3 × 3

x2 = 9a

so,

x1 / x2 = a/ 9a

x1 / x2 = 1 : 9
