Explanation:

(a) Pole: The centre of a spherical mirror is called its pole.

(b) Centre of curvature: Centre of curvature of a spherical mirror is the centre of the hollow sphere of a glass of which the mirror is a part.

(c) Radius of curvature: Radius of curvature of a spherical mirror is the radius of the hollow sphere of glass of which the mirror is a part.

(d)principal focus:Focus is the point where light rays originating from a point on the object converge. The principal focus is defined as the point where a beam parallel to the principal axis appears to diverge converges from a point on the principal axis after passing through the lens

(e) Principal axis: The straight line passing through the centre of curvature and pole of a spherical mirror is called its principal axis.

(f). aperture of the concave mirror.: The diameter of the reflecting surface of spherical mirror is called its aperture. Mirrors whose aperture is much smaller than its radius of curvature, we use R=2f.
