The change in velocity of the particle in half rotation is 2v.

Given:-

Initial Constant Speed of particle (u) = V

To Find:-

The change in velocity of the particle in half rotation.

Solution:-

We can easily find out the change in velocity of the particle in half rotation by following the given procedure.

As

Initial Constant Speed of particle (u) = V

Final Constant Speed of particle = vf

Let the Initial point of the circular path be x

and the final point of the circular path be y

Since, both the points are opposite to each other then Angle (a) = 180°

According to the formula,

vf = 2v \sin( \frac{a}{2} )

vf = 2v \sin( \frac{180}{2} )

vf = 2v \sin( 90)

 \sin(90)  = 1

vf = 2v

Hence, The change in velocity of the particle in half rotation is 2v.
