A particle is moving in a circle of diameter 5m. Calculate the distance covered and the

displacement when it competes 3 revolutions.

Diameter = 5m
radius = 2.5m
distance in 1 revolution = 2 (pi)
r = 2 * 22/7 * 2.5 distance in 3 revolutions =3* 22/7* 2* 2.5 (we could take the value of 22/7 as 3.14) = 3* 3.14* 5 = 9.42* 5 = 47.10
as the body comes back to the same position the displacement is 0.

displacement will be 0as shortest distance and distance for 1 revolution is=2×22/7×radius
2×22/7×5/2

now for three revolutions=15.714×3
47.152
