a particle is moving in a circle of diameter of 5 metre calculate the distance covered and the displacement when it completes 3 revolution​

GIVEN :

  • Diameter = 5 m
  • 3 Revolution

SOLUTION :

Radius = 2.5 m

Distance = 3 × circumfrance of circle

Distance = 3 × 2πr

Distance = 6 × 22/7 × 2.5

Distance = 47.14 m

Displacement will be zero because it is is a circle and when body returns to its initial position then its displacement is zero
