A particle is moving in a circle of radius 5m. calculate the distance covered and displacement when it completes 3 revolutions .

displacement is zero in three revolution as the particles to that position again from where its start moving .
distance =circumference of circle ×3
= 2×3.14×3
= 18.84m

saurabhsinghbihari: your distance is wrong guys as u have not multiplied the radius
vishu543: sorry 2×3.14×5×3=94.2 is the correct answer for distance in 3 revolution
