ans- [a] 1

The whole throw-fall lasts only 0.81549s. (2*4/9.81)

So at time 1s and 2s, the particle is already back on ground. It is still subjected to gravitational acceleration g=9.81m/(s-s), although it is not accelerating, the effect of this acceleration is exhibited as weight force once on ground. And it is constant.
