Solution :

  • Angular velocity about center = 2× Angular velocity about any point on its circumference
  • Angular velocity (ω) = 2(2) = 4 rad/sec
  • Linear speed = r×ω

                     =1×4 = 4 rad/s

The linear speed of the particle is 4 rad/s
