Answer:

Displacement = Xf - Xi

Explanation:

Let Xf = 10 and Xi = 5

displacement = 10 -5 = 5

if Xf = -10 Xi = 5

displacement = -10 - 5= - 15 ( negative displacement)

if Xf= -10 and Xi = - 5

Displacement = -10 - (-5) = -10 + 5 = -5 negative displacement

largest magnitude of displacement among 5 , -15 , -5 is -15

hope u got ur answer,

further query will be answered on whatsapp

Displacement = Xf - Xi

Let  Xf = 30 and Xi = 25

displacement = 30 -25 = 5

if Xf = -30 Xi = 25

displacement = -30 - 25= - 55 ( negative displacement)

if Xf= -30 and Xi = - 25

Displacement = -30 - (-25) = -30 + 25 = -5 negative displacement

The biggest magnitude of displacement among 5 , -55 ,  is -55
