distance travelled is =(2πr)×(3/4)

=(2×3.14×14)×(3/4) = 65.94 m.

displacement is the side of a rigt angle triangle formed with two radii and one chord .

so the two sides are 14m & 14m

using Pythagoras theorem , we get

14^2 + 14^2 = chord^2

196 + 196 = chord^2

392 = chord^2

chord = displacement =√392 = 19.79 m
