In the First 3 seconds, distance travelled = 15 m

∴ S = ut + 1/2 at²

⇒ 15 = 3u + 1/2 × a (3)³

∴  6u + 9a = 30

2u + 3a = 10 -----eq(i).

Similarly, In Second case,

Total time = 3 + 3 = 6 seconds.

Total distance = 33 + 15 = 48 m.

∴ 48 = 6u + 1/2 × a × 36

⇒ 48 =  6u + 18a

u + 3a = 8 --------eq(ii)

Solving (i) and (ii).

a = 2 m/s². and u = 2 m/s.

Hope it Helps.
