A particle of mass m is moving in an uniform circular motion. The momentum of the particle is
(1) Constant over the entire path
(2) Constantly changes and direction of change is along the tangent
3 Constantly chages and direction of chage is along the radial direction
(4) Constantly chages and direction of change is along a direction which is the instantaneous vector
sum of the radial and tangential direction..

PLEASE GIVE BRIEF ANS .....why the direction of momentum is in radial direction...ans is 3 option.......DON'T MSG SPAM...OTHERWISE REPORT

Constantly chages and direction of chage is along the radial direction.

The radial direction is to be considered since the integration is performed along the radial lines for any angular position. The angular position is fixed and frozen while integrating along any particular raduis.

  • you should scold the writer of that book

  • but I think the velocity acquired during the down slope give the block enough velocity to cross up slope and reach the finish line....

  • TBH I haven't found any satisfactory solution of this question till now!!
