Change in momentum = Final momentum - initial momentum
= mv - (-mv) = 2mv
Average force = Change in momentum/ time taken
time taken = distance/ speed = πr/v
Average force = 2mv/ (πr/v) = 2mv^2/(πr)
= mv - (-mv) = 2mv
Average force = Change in momentum/ time taken
time taken = distance/ speed = πr/v
Average force = 2mv/ (πr/v) = 2mv^2/(πr)
