Avg.speed =total distance /total time taken

Avg. Speed in 2nd half=(sT +ST)/2T

= (4.5T+7.5T)/2T

=6m/s

Total avg.Speed = D/(d/2)/3+(d/2)/6

=12D/3D

=4m/s

Anonymous: answer is 4 m/s
