acceleration is constant

distance in 2 s = 100 m

distance in 1 s = 50 m

then in 4 s = 50 × 4

= 200 m

Acceleration is constant which means that the particle is covering equal distance in equal time intetvals.

If it covers 100m in 2 seconds ,

then it will cover 200m

( 2×2 = 4 hence 100×2 = 200 )

distance in 4 seconds .
