Given :-

  • Initial velocity (u) = 0
  • Time (t) = 5s
  • Distance (s) = 50m

To find :-

  • Acceleration (a)
  • Final Velocity (v)

Solution :-

According to the second equation of motion

→ s = ut + ½ at²

→ 50 = 0 × 5 + ½ × a × (5)²

→ 50 = 25a/2

→ a = 50 × 2/25

→ a = 4 m/s²

Now, according to first equation of motion

v = u + at

→ v = 0 + 4 × 5

→ v = 20m/s

Hence,

  • Acceleration of particle = 4m/s
  • Final velocity of particle = 20m/s
