Hence, the x co-ordinate of particle after 2 s = 3 units

             the x co-ordinate of particle after 2 s = 2 units

Displacement of the particle is shortest distance from the origin to its current position. So the displacement can be given by

d = \sqrt{x^{2}+y^{2}}

   = \sqrt{3^{2}+2^{2}}

   = \sqrt{13} units

So, the displacement made by the particle is \sqrt{13} units
