total distance traveled... 20m
total time taken....8s
speed= distance/time
= 20/8 = 2.5 m/s
distance = speed x time
=2.5×2 = 5meters
*(even i was confused at first !!! but here's how it is solved.....question States dt acceleration is uniform i.e speed is changing in a constant rate hence we multiplied it by time)
