A particle travels in a circle of radius 20 cm at a speed which is increasing uniformly. If the speed changes from. 5m/s to 6 m/s in 2 sec , find angular acceleration

Answer ) -» As the speed increases uniformly , the average tangential acceleration is equal to instantaneous tangential acceleration .



instantaneous tangential acceleration = \bold{a_{t} =\frac{v2-v1}{t2-t1}}


 = > \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \frac{6 - 5}{2}

=> 0.5 m/s^2



Angular Acceleration :

=> \bold{\alpha = a_{t} / r}


=> 0.5 / 20


Ans. => 2.5 rad/s^2.
