QUESTION:

A party of 20 people went to a restaurant. They ordered a 36,50 each, but 5 of them had forgotten to bring money. In order to settle the bill, how much more did the other 15 people have to pay?

Given:

Number of people in party = 20

Cost of Meal for each = Rs. 36.60

To find:

Extra money 15 people has pay due to 5 members forgotten to bring money.

Total Cost of Bill = 20 × 36.60 = Rs. 732

Cost of bill each 15 has to pay

 \\  \\  =  \frac{732}{15}

= RS. 48.80

Difference between amount = 48.80 - 36.60 = 12.20

Therefore, The other 15

people have to pay Rs.
