total area of path = (40×35) - {(40-5)×(35-5)}
=1400 - 1050 =350m^2
and the total cost of lightening
= 115.60 × 350 =Rs 40460

Step-by-step explanation:

Answer:

→ Area of the path = 861 m² .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

→ Width of path = 3.5 m .

→ Side of square park along with path = 65 m .

To find :-

→ Area of the path .

Solution :-

∵ Side of square park without the path = 65 - ( 2 × 3.5 )  =  58 m .

Now, area of square park alnog with path

= side × side .

= ( 65 × 65 ) m² .

= 4225 m² .

And, area of square park without path

= side × side .

= ( 58 × 58 ) m² .

= 3364 m² .

Therefore, area of the path = ( 4225 - 3364 ) m² .

= 861 m² .

And, cost of measuring the rest of the field = 3364 × 25 .

= ₹86100 .

Hence, it is solved .
