Answer:

2100m²

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi,

Let the outer rectangle be ABCD and the inner rectangle be abcd.

Length of the inner rectangle = 110 m

and the breadth of the inner rectangle = 90 m

Since the path which is of uniform width of the outside path is 5 meter,

So, the length of the outer rectangle = 110 + 2*5 = 120 m

and the breadth of the outer rectangle = 90 + 2*5 = 100 m

The area of the inner rectangle = 110*90 = 9900 m²

The area of the outer rectangle = 120*100 = 12000 m²

So, Area of the path= Area of Outer rectangle - Area of inner rectangle

= 12000 - 9900

= 2100 m².

Hence, area of the path = 2100 m²

Hope, it helps !

Answer:

Length, l=110m

Breadth, b=90m

Area of garden=l×b=110∗90=9900m ^2

When new path is included then,l=120m and b=100m

So that area=l×b=120×100=12000m ^2

Area of path=12000−9900=2100m ^2

1 hectare=10000m ^2

Therefore area of garden=

10000

2100

=0.21 hectares
