\textbf{Given:}\\\\\text{Length of the given piece of cloth = 5 m}\\\\\text{Breadth of the given piece of cloth = 2 m}\\\\ \text{Width of the given border = 50 cm = 0.5 m}\\\\ \text{The cost of printing is Rs.200/metre.}\\\\\\\text{Total Length of the cloth (with border)=5+(2\times0.5)=(5+1)=6 m$}\\\\\text{Breadth of cloth (with border) = ${2+ (2\times0.5)} = (2+1) = 3 m$}

Now , to find the TOTAL BORDER LENGTH we have to find the PERIMETER of the final piece of rectangular cloth by using the following formula :

\text{Perimeter =$2 \times$(final length of the cloth + final breadth of the cloth)}\\\\\text{Perimeter = $2\times(6+3)$}\\\\\text{Perimeter =$ (2\times9)$}\\\\\text{= 18 m}\\\\\text{Now,the final cost : 1 m cost = Rs. 200}\\\\\text{18 m cost = $200\times18$ = \boxed{Rs . 3600}}
