a pen stand made of wood is in the shape of a cuboid with three conical depression to hold the pens. The dimension of cuboid are 15 by 10 by 3.5 .The radius of each of the depression is 0.5 and the depth is 1.4 . find the surface area of the model .​

Surface area of Cuboid

= 2(lb+bh+lh)

=2(15*10+10*3.5+15*3.5)

=475m²

Lateral Surface area of three cones

= 3πr√(h² + r²)

=3*(22/7)*0.5*√(1.4²+0.5²)

=7m²

Total Surface area

= 475+7

=482m²
