According to the given details, the pendulum bob has the speed of 3m/s while passing through its lowest position.

If it makes an angle of 60°with vertical, we need to calculate the speed.

It is given below.mV^2 = mV1^2+2mgh m cross 3^2 = V1^2+2*(0.5-0.5cos 60°)*9.806

= V1^2+4.903

V1 = √9-4.903

V1= 2.0 m/sec

The speed will be 2m/sec
