No of oscillations made in 10 secs

= 50

No of oscillations made in 1 sec

=(50/10) =5

Therefore, frequency of the pendulum is 5Hz as frequency of a pendulum is defined as the total no of oscillations made by the pendulum in 1 sec.

Time period of the pendulum is the reciprocal of it's frequency.

Therefore, time period=(1/5)=0.2sec.
