Answer:

The pendulum oscillates 30 times in 3 secs.

so taken taken to oscillate once =3/30 secs =0.1 secs

so time period of the pendulum is 0.1 secs.

Frequency =1/time period=1/0.1 Hz =10 Hz

We get, 10 Hz.

Hope it helps have a sweet day..............

Given:

  • Pendulum oscillates 30 times in 3 seconds.

To find:

  • Time period
  • Frequency

Calculation:

Time period is defined as the time taken by an oscillatory body to complete one full oscillation.

 time \: period =  \dfrac{total \: time}{no. \: of \:oscillations }

 \implies time \: period =  \dfrac{3}{30}

 \implies time \: period =  0.1 \: sec

Now, frequency is defined as the total number of oscillations completed in one second. In other words, it is the reciprocal of time period.

frequency =  \dfrac{1}{time \: period}

 \implies frequency =  \dfrac{1}{0.1}

 \implies frequency = 10 \: hz

So, time period is 0.1 seconds and frequency is 10 Hz
