1sec=10times

Now

T=1/f

10=1/f

1/10=f

Time= 4 seconds
Frequency= No of oscillation/Time Taken
=40/ 4= I0 Hz.

Time period= 1/frequency
=1/10
= 0.1 second

So frequency is 10Hz and time period is 0.1 second
