Solution:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let length of the pendulum be 'l'cm.

Length of the arc = 8.8 cm

=> ¢πl/180° = 8.8 cm

=> 30° × π × l / 180° = 8.8 cm

=> πl = 8.8 × 6

=> 22/7 × l = 52.8 cm

=> l = 52.6 × 7 / 22 cm = 16.8 cm

Therefore, l = 16.8 cm

Answer:

Explanation:

Formula for the length of arc =theta/360×2pie×r

30/360×2×22/7×r=8.8

Further simplification,we get

11/21×r=8.8r

=16.8

So length of pendulum is 16.8cm.
