A person bought a bicycle for 4500₹ and sold it for 5500₹. Again he bought another bicycle at a certain cost and sold it at a loss of 20%. But altogether if the dealer neither gained nor lost anything then find the cost of second bicycle.

Given, a man purchased a bicycle =Rs 1,040

Selling price of this bicycle =Rs 800

We know that, loss = cost price-selling price

=1040=800=Rs 240

Now, we have to calculated loss %. So,

×100=23.07%
