A) Name of the defect => Hypermetropia
Hypermetropia is a condition of the eye where close objects appear blurry but far ones appear clearly.

B) Causes of hypermetropia -
1) Increased focal length
2) Shortening of eyeball
3) Decreased refractive index

C) Hypermetropia is managed with providing patients with convex lens (positive lens).

P = 1/-0.5 - 1/-0.25
