Because it is gaseous and gases have very high rate of diffusion and hence they diffuse in air and we are able to smell

Perfume is a gas and gas has a big intermolecular space among the particles. Particles of gas moves freely here and there with a high rate..... In simple words it is because of diffusion... Particles of gas gets diffused and spreads through distances and thus we are able to smell perfume even from a distance.
