first we should find

16% out of 8,000 = 1280 &

12% out of 10,000 = 1200

now we should find

4% of 1280 = 51.2 &

5% of 1200= 60

now we should find the transaction

1280-51.2 = 1228.8 &

1200-60 = 1140

so he earned 1228.8 rupees & 1140 rupees from the transaction
