A person is advised to wear spectacles with convex lenses. What type of defect of vision is he suffering from?

THe person is suffering from farsightedness or hypermetropic eye. The eye lens is not able to focus (converge sufficiently ) the image onto retina and is able to focus behind retina. To converge the rays more the convex lens is prescribed by the doctor.
