Work done= Fd=mgd (gravity = 10m/s²)

60×10×2

=1200 J

hope this helps you.

pls mark my answer as brainliest

YashParbat: mass is not 20 m×d is 20 which represents force So answer should be 120J instead of 1200J

Required Answer:-

The boy is carrying the box on his head. That means, Force is being applied towards up. And he is covering a distance towards left/right.

Work done formula:

 \large{ \therefore{ \underline{ \boxed {\sf{W = Fs \cos( \theta) }}}}}

Where F is the force applied, s is the distance travelled and cos Θ is the cosine of angle between them.

Now,

  • Force is 60 N
  • Distance is 2 m

Angle between them will be 90°. That means, cos Θ = cos 90°. And we know that, In trigonometry cos 90° = 0°

Hence,

  • Work done = 60 N × 2 m × 0
  • Work done = 0 (Option C)

The work done by the boy on carrying the box on his head is 0. Kind of surprising, but that's true in the sense of physics.
