A person is moving in a straight line wih speed 10m/s for 1/6 th of total distance and 20m/s for 1/3th of total distance and for the rest of time he is moving with 45m/s ,then find out average velocity​

let the total displacement be x

time = displacement/velocity

therefore for 1/6 of total displacement, time =   (1/6*x ) / 10--------------------Eq 1

and for 1/3 of total displacement time = ( 1/3*x ) / 20----------------------------Eq 2

total time = Eq 1 +Eq 2 = x/30

therefore average velocity = x / (x/30) = 30 m/s
