Blood and mucus in the stool with abdominal pain, stomach cramping and diarrhea are all signs and symptoms of amoebiasis or amebic dysentery. It is a very severe digestive disease which has mild symptoms and cannot be easily detected. These diseases are caused by and endoparasite Entamoeba histolytica. ➡️Blood in stool can have causes that aren't due to underlying disease. Examples include abrasions from excessive use of toilet paper or hard stool.
