Answer:-

Speed of the person is 5.76 m/s .

Explanation:-

We have :-

→ Time = 2 minutes

→ Radius of the circular track = 110 m

________________________________

Firstly, let's convert the unit of time from 'minutes' to 'seconds'.

⇒ 1 min = 60s

⇒ 2 min = 2(60)

⇒ 120 s

________________________________

Now when a body is moving around a circular track, it's speed is given by :-

v = 2πr/t

Where :-

v is speed of the body.

r is radius of the circular track.

t is time taken.

Substituting values, we get :-

⇒ v = (2 × 22/7 × 110)/120

⇒ v = (4840/7)/120

⇒ v = 4840/840

⇒ v = 5.76 m/s

Given :-

A person jogging around a circular track once every 2 minutes. It the radius of the circular track  is 110 m

To Find :-

Speed

Solution :-

We know that

1 min = 60 sec

2 min = 120 sec

Now,

Distance covered = 2πr

Distance covered = 2 × 22/7 × 110

Distance covered = 44/7 × 110

Distance covered = 691 m

Speed = Distance/Time

Speed = 691/120

Speed = 5.8 m/s
