Now, Interest = x -520

Rate of interest = 4%

We know that ,

S.I= PTR/100)


x-520 = x (5)(4)/100)

x-520 = 20x/100

x-520 = x/5

x - x/5 = 520

4x/5 = 520

4x = 520*5

$x = 520 \times 5 \div 4$


x = 650


Therefore. The Amount lent is 650 rupees .
