m=50 kg
h=72m
g=9.8 meter per second square
w=fs
=mas
=mgh
=50 * 72* 9.8
= 35280 joule

The answer is 35,280 J

GIVEN

Person of mass 50kg climbs a tower of hight 72m

TO FIND

Work done.

SOLUTION

The above problem can be simply solved as follows;

Work can be defined as the product of force and the displacment caused by the force.

That is;

w = f × d

Where,

f = mg = product of mass of the object and acceleration due to gravity.

Given,

Mass of the person = 50 kg

Acceleration due to gravity = 9.8 m/s²

Putting the value of f in formula of work.

Work done = 490 × 72 = 35,280 J

Hence, The answer is 35,280 J
