Selling price =30000-30000(20%)
=30000-6000
=24000
Gain =24000-20000
=4000
Gain%=(4000)x100/20000
=20%

Selling Price = (30000)-(20/100)(30000)
SP = 30000(1-(20/100))
SP = 30000(80/100)
SP = 24000

gain % = ((24000-20000)/20000)x100
= (4000/20000)x100
= 20

So, 20% gain
